So tired of the horse pills....blech!

365.....

This has been an interesting week...we celebrated Jeremiah's 5th birthday, Emma woke up Monday with a fever and it ended up being strep and scarlet fever which meant Mama got an unplanned 2-day vacation. Just overall a crazy busy week....

Opening his presents......

Trying my hand at Macro....

At the doctors office....taken with my iPhone

Enjoying this spring like weather in February

My boys are so silly. I woke up and saw this and just busted out laughing....I keep finding them in various places in the bathroom

He is just the sweetest!

What? This isn't my bed Mama?

Until next week.....

Indoor Lighting-Week 2

So this week has been super busy, what with my middle son's birthday on Sat, trying to complete a report for my part time job, and general life busyness, I have had little to no time to work on my class assignment. I finally read the material last night, because I kept falling asleep while trying to read it over the past week. Not because it was boring, but because I am just that tired. I practiced a little this morning, and hopefully things will slow down so I can continue to work on this. Taking pictures inside is definitely not my strong area.....

I was working on making a silhouette. This is an east window at about 8am. I didn't think I would like this at all, but I really do. He was so excited to help me with my project :)

These two were taken a few minutes later, same lighting situation, both on the left side of the room. The first on the window sill, and the second one across the room.

Something I have learned from this so far, is I actually do have light available in my house. My problem is I tend to forget to open my blinds. So this is at the very least getting me to open the blinds and windows in my house. Fresh air does a body good. Ha!

Still trucking along....365

Trying to come up with different types of pictures....so tired of being inside. Need I say more?

Until next week......

2013 CM Monthly Challenge: Close-Up Portraiture

I joined a photography forum, Clickinmoms.com last year to learn more things about how to take better pictures of my children and family. Having taken several online classes previously through FifePhotography here in Norman and Bellapop out of Texas, I knew online learning was perfect for me. What I found there was a wonderful community of women who make it so easy and fun to learn new techniques and who are willing to teach new things. Through this I committed to starting my 365 project, taking daily pictures, which has been so much fun. I also committed to a monthy challenge of a Blog Circle with 14 other women. This month our topic was Close-Up Portraiture. This was more of a challenge for me as I take more lifestyle, candid shots, as my children, well, don't pose easily. Ha! But here are a few shots from this month. Enjoy!

Thanks for looking at mine, please follow the link and see what my friend  Melinda Anderson up with! :)
