365

We went on a walk to the park. I sat them all down to take a picture of the 4 of them. Yeah....they were uncooperative.

Working on my speedlight while my son was in time out.

Probably my favorite picture....

Mud. What mud? It wasn't me. It was my brother.

Learning the speedlight

I have been working on my lighting in pictures. I hate when I take a picture and it just looks yucky because it is too dark, and in my quest to capture every moment I can, I decided I needed to learn how to really use my speedlight, which is my on camera flash but not the pop up flash. I took an online class this last month, you know, in my spare time, through ClickinMoms.com. I loved it. Do I have lots more practice to do? Yes. But I really feel it is helping me take even better pictures of my kids. Well and my dog too..... :)

And yes, even this last one is with the speedlight. We were practicing using it outside, but the clouds got in the way.

2013 CM Monthly Challenge: Interesting Perspectives

Another month has gone by. Hard to believe....this month's blog circle topic is Interesting Perspectives. I have struggled trying to figure out what  I wanted to do. I finally remembered I had taken some wide angle shots in January at the park.

I actually used this last one in my 365 for that day...Loved the colors in it, and it just feels peaceful.

With this next one I was going for a vanishing point perspective with the train. I am not sure what I feel about this shot, but since I have not been stopped at a train since, at least with my camera at the ready, I couldn't try again.

This last one is probably my favorite of the five, at least for this exercise. I just thought it was cool....

I hope you enjoyed my take on this topic. Please click forward to see what Davina's take is on this topic. See you next month!
