Letter to my children

Dear kids,

This year has gone by so quickly. We did not take advantage of the nice weather as much as we should have over the last few weeks. So on the last weekend of gorgeous sunny weather we walked to the park and played and explored. The four of you love playing on the playground and by goodness we also need to take a walk and explore the trails. When we found the mounds of dirt the four of you were so excited! You were searching for "iron" and filled up your shirts carrying them around. Love it! I love that the four of you are content playing and exploring with each other. Well, at least, most of the time.

Letter to my children

To my children,

The four of you are so active. All of the time. One of the highlights of my week is being able to watch you play soccer. Granted, only you boys are on teams right now, but some day soon my sweet daughter you will be too. All of you are so competitive, always wanting to score, to win. And when your teams are playing each other….. oh goodness! But the most important thing to me, is when I hear you laughing in joy while running on the field. I hope that never stops!
